Our mission is to provide an alternative to auction and slaughter for Parx Racing’s racehorses when their careers have ended by placing them with approved adoption organizations that will work to find them new homes and careers.

TFH Adoption Application

Your application will be shared with our carefully chosen, professional Partner Farms who have been responsible for the transition of adoptable horses from Parx Racing. Please be as informative as possible so that they can reach back with compatible horses in your area. Prices range from free to a good ( and carefully screened) companion home to five figures for competitive horses with years of training, and everything in between. Most range around $1500 for off the track with a few rides to determine their suitability, and PPEs and farm visits and rides are determined by the Farm Manager with respect to the experience of the potential adopter with or without a trainer. Ownership is transferred with a Right of First Refusal, and TFH will always take any horse back for safe landing.
