Since 2008, PTHA’s Turning For Home has helped more than 4,702 Thoroughbreds retire safely from Parx. Winter is here, and more than 120 retired Thoroughbreds in the Turning For Home network are turned out at our partner farms, safely beginning their next chapter. Cold weather is tough on horses in transition, especially the older campaigners and hard-luck cases who need extra support.
We’re launching a Blanket Donation Drive to help keep them warm, dry, and comfortable all winter long.
